Sarah Thomas, Class of 1997, Produces and Acts in NYC Play

Sarah Thomas, Shipley Class of 1997, is performing in her second show in NYC. "Summit Conference" revolves around Eva Braun and Clara Petacci, mistresses to the world's most frightening dictators, Hitler and Mussolini. Sarah, in the role of Eva Braun, is also responsible for the production of the play.

The show is performed at Urban Stages, 259 W.30th St., Tuesdays-Saturdays at 8:00, two blocks from Penn Station. Originally scheduled to run through February, it has been extended twice--running now through March 13.

TimeOutNY lists it as a "Don't Miss" play, and CurtainUp called it "one of the more provocative and stimulating dramas to be found on or off Broadway." During the course of the play, the mistresses take on the personalities of their respective dictators in order to explore issues of intolerance, anti-Semitism, and indifference.
