Using Your Extra Pages

Each course page has approximately 4 unused pages ready for use. To use the pages you must use RedDot to:

  1. Give the link to the page a name.
  2. Give the page a title
  3. Add your text.

Give the link to the page a name. Without a name there is nothing for the visitor to click on to get to your pages.

  1. Go to the course page so that you can see the sub-pages.
  2. Use the "Open 3rd Level Container" RedDot
  3. Click the RedDot of the top "SubNavLink" link.  These are the unused links.
  4. Give the link a name.  The Link name you type is what visitors will use to access the page.

  5. Click OK.
  6. You can now see the new link name ("Adding More Pages")
  7. Use the "Save 3rd Level Link Container" RedDot to save your changes

Give the page a title. The Title lets visitors know which page they are visiting.

The Title should match the link name you assigned the link, i.e. "Adding More Pages"

  1. Open the page
  2. Use the "Click here to edit the title" RedDot to add a title
  3. Type your title in the window
  4. Click OK

You can now edit the page -- a blank canvas waiting for you!
