Montgomery County Intermediate Unit

The MCIU offers many Continuing Professional Education courses for Montgomery County educators throughout the year. Sessions are held in fall, spring or summer and take place at various county locations. One credit is awarded for each fifteen hours of instruction, which can be used to satisfy the requirements for PA’s Act 48 as well as Permanent Certification.

“The MCIU offers a variety of courses that are interesting, informative and suitable for the needs of teachers at all grade levels. Classes are conveniently located and reasonably priced—definitely worth looking into.”  (Trish Giaccio)

“MCIU technology courses are realistic. They are taught by individuals who have experience working with students in classroom settings. The handouts are “keepers” that provide great reference information with many connections as to how to best use the technology with students. Going with a colleague cam make a real difference in applying newly learned skills.” (Rose diBenedetto)
