Middle School Service Group Recognized by Fairmount Park Commission
Over the course of the year, Middle School students participate in a number of service projects incorporated in their advisory program. Each student volunteers for a variety of activities and is given opportunities to share his or her experiences with fellow classmates.

Service learning provides opportunities for all members of the community to learn through participation how to truly live our Principles of Community Life. Some students visit a local nursing home with the Head of Middle School while others may choose to help distribute food collected by PhilAbundance. All students participate in a variety of service projects.

This year, faculty member Jenn Trainer, has been taking a group of students to Fairmount Park. The service group was awarded volunteer of the month from the Fairmount Park Commission. If you would like to see some of the students pictured on their website, please use this link.
