Note to Internet Explorer 7 & 8 Users: If you are using Internet Explorer 7 or 8 click on Tools -> Internet Options. In the Internet Options page click on the Advanced tab. Then scroll down to the bottom of the settings page and check on the check box next to the “Use SSL 2.0”. Finally click on the Apply then OK buttons and restart Internet Explorer.

Network Access via *Citrix (For Colleagues Only) 

We have installed a new Citrix server that you may use to access files stored on the network when you are off campus.

If you have logged onto the old Citrix server on a Mac or PC, you will need to uninstall the old Citrix client first, using the appropriate procedure:

Mac

1. Start Finder
2. Click on Go in the Finder menu and then select Applications
3. Select the “Citrix ICA Client” folder
4. Drag this folder to the trash
5. Close Finder
6. On your desktop drag the “Local ICA” and “Remote ICA” files to the trash

PC

1. Click on the Windows Start button
2. Click on “Control Panel” (Windows 7) or “Settings” then “Control Panel” (Windows XP)
3. In the Control Panel select either: “Programs and Features” (Windows 7) or
   “Add Remove Programs” (Windows XP)
4. In the list of installed programs, right click on the “Citrix ICA Web Client” entry and select uninstall
5. Follow the prompts to uninstall the program

To install the new Citrix Receiver, please follow these steps:

1. Go to http://receiver.citrix.com and download and install the file that is needed for either a Mac or a Windows computer
2. Once the Citrix Receiver is installed, go to https://xen.shipleyschool.org which you may want to bookmark for future use
3. You will be prompted for your Shipley username and password
4. After logging in, you will see an icon labeled Desktop, click on it
5. You will then be taken to the desktop on the new Citrix server and will see the familiar Citrix desktop.
