Admission to Shipley is competitive, and decisions are based on previous academic achievement, participation in co-curricular and community activities, special talents and interests, standardized testing, recommendations, and insights drawn from the candidate visit. The Admissions Committee begins its review of completed applications in January and continues meeting regularly until all available openings in each grade are filled. Decision letters are sent out beginning in February. Families are encouraged to begin the application process in the fall prior to the year of desired entrance. Parents are invited to call the Admissions Office at 610-525-4300 to schedule an appointment and a tour of the School.
