The arts are greatly valued at Shipley because it is through them that many students discover their inherent creativity and find the courage to express it. Lessons learned help students build confidence that can be applied to life and the world at large. The arts program encourages each individual to reach his or her full creative potential.

Shipley’s Fine Arts, Music, and Theater Arts departments are well developed and fully staffed with exceptional teachers. Each department’s curriculum is carefully designed in an age-appropriate continuum from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12. The excellence of our arts program is reflected in the recognition and awards our students receive for their musical and theatrical performances and work in fine arts.
