Shipley Round-Up - Friday, April 20, 2012

We are delighted to announce this year's major spring fundraiser, the Shipley Round-Up, to be held on Friday, April 20, 2012. The success of this event depends on the many talents and resources of our Shipley families, alumni, staff, and extended community.  There are many ways you can help ensure the success of Shipley's biggest fundraiser of the year:

• Sponsor! Market your business or show your family's support by sponsoring the Shipley Round-Up.  Your family and/or your business will be listed on the invitation, in all press materials, the event website, in the auction booklet, and on signage throughout the event.
• Plan to be there and bring your friends! Mark your calendar now to be in Yarnall Gymnasium at The Shipley School on Friday, April 20, 2012. Come and enjoy a fun, casual evening in your boots and blue jeans. Enjoy amazing cuisine by Stephen Starr Events and enjoy live music by Shipley’s own faculty member, Chuck Amidon, and his band Fire Water to keep those boots moving! 
• Donate! Do you have a vacation home, know a famous athlete for a meet and greet, or are you willing to donate a business service, a restaurant or store gift certificate?  Don’t worry if the item or service is not located in Philadelphia. Event attendees bid on items all around the country and even the world. 

All proceeds directly support Shipley’s academic, athletic, arts, music, financial aid, and other programs. We look forward to seeing you all on April 20, 2012 for a fun and memorable evening!

Get Involved

The 2012 committee led by co-chairs, Lisa Brandt and Abby Mezrow, invite you to join the fun and get involved. We are actively looking for volunteers to help promote the grand raffle, solicit corporate sponsorships, set up and decorate the event, and help the evening of the event.
