Join the Shipley Team on Philadelphia Cares Day The School District of Philadelphia educates close to 200,000 students in 273 buildings. On October 18, Greater Philadelphia Cares invites us to roll up our sleeves and join thousands of other volunteers to improve our city’s public schools by painting classrooms, restoring playgrounds, and creating green spaces. Philadelphia Cares Day is a day of service that gives Philadelphia school children attractive and more functional learning spaces. Participants should contact Deb Veraldi at djveraldi@shipleyschool.org. Please note that Lower School children must be accompanied by a parent.

9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Transportation will be provided from Shipley. The van will depart the Middle School circle at 9:00 a.m. and return around 1:00 - 1:30 p.m.
