Besides being very popular with young people, polar bears and penguins share many things in common. At least that’s what Kindergartners in Christine Cookish’s class have discovered during their study of polar habitats.
They started their polar animals unit with the building of an igloo, right in the classroom. This helped to get them in the spirit of learning about the similarities and differences in the North and South poles.
