Lower School art teacher Kathy Chapman received an award for a print she entered in the American Color Print Society exhibition at the Cheltenham Art Center.
Kathy’s print, “Spirits Rising,” was chosen from an impressive collection of work. “It was great to be recognized,” said Chapman of her award. The American Color Print Society was founded in 1939 in Philadelphia, PA, and held its first exhibition in 1940 at the Philadelphia Print Club. Today, the juried exhibition is open to all printmaking artists from across the nation. The exhibit runs from June 10th to June 29th at the Cheltenham Art Center (439 Ashbourne Road, Cheltenham, PA). Visit the Cheltenham Art Center’s website for more information about the American Color Print Society exhibition.
