Event Recap: Washington, D.C. Alumni Reception
Washington, D.C.’s Cosmos Club was the site of a Shipley Alumni Reception held on May 17. Attendees enjoyed the company of history teacher George Wrangham and Head of School Steve Piltch at the Cosmos--which boasts among its members: three Presidents, two Vice Presidents, a dozen Supreme Court justices, thirty-two Nobel Prize and fifty-six Pulitzer Prize winners, and forty-five recipients of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Thanks to alumna and Club member, Patricia Cepeda ’72, for sponsoring the Shipley alumni event there.
