Alumna Sara Mancini ’05 Earns USA Archery All-Academic Team Honors Mancini is among the elite group of 10 Women’s Olympic Recurve archers to be named to the prestigious team. She qualified for the team by achieving a 3.0 G.PA or better and finishing in the top 25% of her division in the U.S. Indoor Nationals held this past March, where she led her team to the gold medal. During her two years as an archer for the Columbia Lions, Mancini has been named All-American in the Women’s Recurve Division twice. Just 20 women throughout the country are named to this team. Mancini also picked up All-East honors this season. Prior to attending Columbia, Sara ranked second in the U. S. in the Female Recurve Division, setting records at the Pennsylvania and U.S. Championships while she attended Shipley. For more information on Sara and Columbia Archery visit Columbia's website.
