Event Recap: Alumni Reception with the Phillies Baseball fare in the Park’s High and Inside Pub kicked off the festivities, followed by an exciting match-up between the Phillies and the Cincinnati Reds. The Phils played through to a rain-soaked tenth inning, clinching the win with an RBI by Jimmy Rollins. And if two back-to-back homeruns by Chase Utley weren’t enough to wow the crowd, the evening ended with a spectacular fireworks display. Yes, in the rain. Thanks to all who attended the event.
Though the night ended in rain showers, a recent Shipley Alumni event at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia was no wash.
