On Exhibit from Oct. 12 through November 12, in the Speer Gallery, are the works of some of the most talented artisans in the craft world. The exhibition is from ArtWorks, a retail store located in the Philadelphia Museum of Art and run by the Philadelphia Museum of Art Women's Committee.

The show in the Speer Gallery features a group of artists’ works from around the United States, representing a variety of contemporary media in the world of crafts, including, jewelry, fiber arts, wood, glass, leather, and ceramics. This show is designed to educate and introduce the community to examples of the contemporary arts and crafts movement in the United States, as well as to tie in with this year's PMA craft show.

The PMA craft show will be held at the Convention Center in Philadelphia from Nov 10 through 13. More information is available at Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Artworks’ selections for the Speer Gallery exhibit include contemporary American crafts by artists who have been in the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show and contemporary painting and photography by Philadelphia area artists. All work is for sale. The paintings and photography can also be rented by corporations and individuals.
