Spring Thing: Shipley's Earth Day
A range of service activities are open to students in grades 5 through 12 and their families. Want to participate? Send an email to Deb Veraldi to sign up.
Please note: transportation to off-campus activities will be provided from Shipley. See times listed in parentheses for drop-off and pick-up. Students must return signed permission slips to Deb Veraldi.

Wildflower Restoration Project
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (from Shipley: 9:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.)

Chamounix Equestrian Center

Help the Work to Ride program at the Chamounix Equestrian Center in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia by tending to the grounds and flower beds. You will have time to tour the stables and feed the horses!

Storm Drain Project with Lower Merion Conservancy

Lower School Gardens

Car Wash and Tire Pressure Check

Join the fun and wash cars with green products and offer to check tire pressure. We will also educate our customers on best environmental car practices. Donations accepted will benefit The Alliance for Climate Protection.

Workshops
We hope to offer various environmental workshops for Shipley families throughout the morning of Saturday, April 19. Workshop topics include birdhouse making, organic gardening, community gardens (CSA's), and green lawncare. If you are interested in presenting a workshop, please contact Deb Veraldi at djveraldi@shipleyschool.org
