Laurel project for Friendship Class Over the next six weeks we will be exploring some important character traits and values in class. The traits and values that will be highlighted include: courage, determination, citizenship, fairness, honesty, and teamwork. Each week we will read stories about famous and not so famous people who have displayed one or more of these traits through their actions. Your assignment is to interview someone you know, possibly a close friend or family member, using the enclosed interview form. You may ask this person to focus on a particular experience or life event. After you have completed the interview, write a paragraph explaining which of the traits and values this person exhibited during their life. The final assignment will include the interview and paragraph as described above. We will be sharing the interviews during class time, so if you want to get creative have someone videotape the interview. Download the interview form (PDF)
