Shipley Welcomes New Faculty & Staff
As the rhythm of the new school year establishes itself, Shipley is pleased to have fifteen new faculty and staff members among its ranks.

In the Lower School, Usha Balamore is the new Assistant Head and Director of Character Development. Tina Wattles joins Pre-K, and Allison Mafodda joins the Kindergarten team as a second teacher.

Nate Schwartz joins the Middle School Spanish Department after subbing there last spring.

The Upper School welcomes Mark Schoeffel as its new Head. In the Science Department, Nina Butler-Roberts and Christine Hunter will teach Chemistry; and Jessie Willing will teach Biology. Betsy Swan joins the Upper School Library as Assistant Librarian. The Spanish Department adds Jennifer Kotler. In the Mathematics Department, Chris Choi will teach Geometry and Statistics, and Keith Cappo will teach Algebra, as well as coach Boys’ JV Soccer. Alumnus Rob Mygatt ’02 joins the Upper School as Director of AV and Technical Theater.

In the External Relations Department, Tara Stitchberry and Melissa Cardona join as Assistant Director of Annual Giving and Assistant Director of Communications, respectively. Kelly Dougherty is the new Alumni and Parent Programs Coordinator.
