Shipley Today Open Houses

Saturday, November 17, 2007 9–11:30 am

Our Shipley Today Open Houses present a comprehensive overview of the School featuring presentations by Head of School Steve Piltch, the heads of the three academic divisions, students, and other members of the faculty and administration.  They also include a tour of the campus, and our Saturday Open House concludes with an optional presentation on financial aid.

Our Open Houses are designed for parents of prospective students for any grade, and for students applying to grades nine through twelve. 

Advance reservations are required.

All Information Sessions are from 9:30-11:30 am, and are held at Beechwood House.

Parents of applicants for Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 5 are invited to attend an Information Session.  The session includes a conversation with the Head of School, the Lower School Division Head, Director of Admissions and Faculty; a question and answer session; and a tour of the Lower School.

Attending one of these Information Sessions satisfies the application requirement of a parent interview. No advance registration is necessary.

Beechwood House is at the corner of Roberts Road & Montgomery Avenue, on Shipley’s Lower School campus. To park, enter the Beechwood driveway from Roberts Road between Montgomery and Wyndon Avenues or the main Lower School driveway on Wyndon Avenue between Roberts Road and Kennedy Lane. If you enter by the Lower School driveway, please park in spaces marked for visitors. From that parking lot, follow the steps between the academic building and Dalton Playing Fields up to Beechwood.  View Shipley's Campus Map.

Middle and Upper School Information Sessions:

All Information Sessions are from 9-11 am, and are held in the Common Room in the Upper School.

No advance registration is necessary.
