Secret Gardens

We can barely contain our excitement for The Shipley School's 41st Annual Secret Gardens Tour! We are daydreaming about the magnificent gardens carefully selected for this greatly-anticipated Main Line tradition. Enjoy a fun spring day touring local gardens, catching up with friends over a Di Bruno Brothers catered luncheon, and shopping in our boutiques.

A Garden Luncheon

Over 500 people attend each year so luncheon reservations are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reservations and boxed lunch orders will be accepted until May 1.

This year's luncheon will be held at Appleford in Villanova. 

Buffet Seated Luncheon Menu 
Salad Nicoise
with haircots verts, potato, egg, tomato, olives, baby green, and a roasted shallot sherry vinegar dressing 
Specialty grain salad of faro grains, Tuscan kale, butternut squash, amerena cherries and walnuts
French style roulade of chicken, melted leeks, tomatoes and mushrooms drizzled in a chicken jus lie
Seared Salmon topped with fine herbs, micro greens, and a warm salad of baby carrots, asparagus and whole grain mustard veloute 
Secret Gardens chocolate cake, wine, coffee, tea, and lemonade

Boxed Luncheon Menu (choice of one) 
Sandwich box lunches served with bottled water, chips, pickle, and house baked cookie
Mediterranean Vegetable Wrap: Grilled marinated vegetables with hummus on a tortilla wrap
Napoleon: house turkey, brie cheese, fig jam, and caramelized onion on multi grain baguette
Steakhouse Beef and Blue: arugula, pickled tomatoes, gorgonzola spread on an onion roll
Salad box lunches served with bottled water, petite rolls, butter, and a seasonal fruit cup
Mediterranean Tuna Salad: Flott tuna, baby lettuce, chick pea, olives, piquillo peppers, and baby heirloom tomatoes with a roasted vegetable vinaigrette

Rain or Shine
The Garden owners have requested that you wear flat-heeled shoes for your safety.
