Shipley’s varsity softball team won 18-1 on Tuesday, April 17 against Friends Select to improve to 3-2 (3-1 FSL). The Gators’ Kelly Waldron (senior) pitched 5 innings with 7K’s and 2BB. Shipley junior Rebecca Yuska hit 4-4 with a Double, HR, and 3 RBI’s. Freshman Jenn Nichols hit a grand slam HR with 4 RBI’s. Sophomore Adrienne Drummond hit a 2-run HR, and sophomore Julia Schwartz added another HR. Senior Alex King hit 1 for 1 with a double.
