During those four years, Shipley won four league championships. In 2003 and 2004 Bartholomew was an All-League member of the KSAC Championship team, and in 2005 and 2006 he was a driving force behind the Friends Schools League Championship squad. The 2006 FSL Championship team posted an impressive 19-1, 10-0 FSL record. For his accomplishments this season, Bartholomew was named All-Friends Schools League (an honor he also received in 2005), All-Southeast Pennsylvania, and All-State. Senior captain of the Shipley girls’ soccer team, Brooke Stokes is also a four-year starter who amassed 124 career points on 53 goals and 18 assists. Stokes was a member of the 2004 Inter-Ac Tournament Championship team, for which she was awarded 1st team All-Inter-Ac. In 2005 Stokes was named 1st team All-Friends Schools League for her role on the Shipley girls’ team that finished in 2nd place in the FSL. This past season, Stokes was once again named All-FSL, as the Gators captured their first FSL title in the two years that the school has been a member of the league. For her efforts in 2006, Stokes was named All-Southeast Pennsylvania. Both Stokes and Bartholomew plan to continue their soccer careers at the college level next year.
