The Shipley Varsity Field Hockey team (1-3, 0-0 FSL) outscored Delaware County Christian School five to zero on Tuesday, September 18, 2007. By halftime, Shipley was up by 2 goals, with seniors Brittany Boesenhofer and Alison Redding each recording one.

Fifteen minutes into the second half, Boesenhofer added another goal. The Gators continued to play as a unit and capitalize on great opportunities, allowing Melanie Simmons and Yardley Markee to each add another tally, bringing Shipley to 5 goals.

Sophomore Jill Keeney added two assists in the game, while junior Julia Schwartz, senior Elise Mercier, and Boesenhofer each assisted one.
