Duties required of the volunteer:
Assist in the refurbishing of used computers, sorting and organizing of computer parts and the sale of the computers in our computer thrift store. Much of the work in our facility involves lifting computers and monitors.

Special skills that will be helpful for a volunteer to have:
Knowledge of computer hardware. The ability to wield a screw driver, and patience to work with our clients and other volunteers with limited knowledge or education.

Also, any skill at inventing better ways to manage the volume of materials and the time it takes to produce our computers will be welcome.

Typical hours of employment:
9 - 5

Additional Information:
Students will be working in our warehouse which is less then spotlessly clean. Casual work clothes are appropriate.

Last year we had three of your students who were enthusiastic and very helpful. It would be great to repeat last year's experience.
