Duties required of the volunteer:
Assist the hortriculutral staff in outdoor gardening activities: Planting, weeding, pruing and hopefully learning about botany, ecology and names of plants.

Special skills that will be helpful for a volunteer to have:
Home landsape gardening experience is helpful but not necessary as long as ther is a keen interest to want to learn.

Typical hours of employment:
8:30-4 daily

Special circumstances ie. travel, security clearance or background check required:
An ability to be physically active.

Additional Information:
Anyone interested in biology, ecology, or environmental issues would benefit from the experience.
