Alumni Weekend

Members of the Shipley Diversity Committee gathered with Shipley Alums to talk about the progress of Diversity initiatives at Shipley. Current Shipley students and parents spoke about their experiences at Shipley. Everyone present was invited to reflect on their experiences at Shipley around initiatives. The written reflections were gathered to add to a growing History of Diversity at Shipley. In gathering these anecdotal histories, we seek to create a document that captures the range of experiences that alumni, faculty, students, colleagues and families have had during their time at Shipley throughout the years in order that we may further work towards our diversity goals of “creating a safe and accepting environment for all people” for the future.
