The Twin Poets, Albert Mills and Nnamdi Chukwvocha, came to Shipley in December 2003.  Having performed with Russell Simmons Def poetry Jam on HBO, the Twin Poets are an internationally recognized pair of poets, activists and performance artists. They entertained and educated Shipley Upper School students with their modern themes and lyrical presentation.  Trading lines of poetry the pair performed their powerful poetry in perfect synergy.
