Brynn’s Shipley story reflects both depth and range, from pottery class to the mainstage of musicals while fully committing to a rigorous honors curriculum. As a leader of the Black Student Union, she has helped shape community and amplify student voice, balancing performance, leadership, and academics with intention. Her experience captures what it means to pursue multiple passions fully, showing that creativity and scholarship can thrive side by side.

“As students, we go through a lot to get to where we want to be, but I think being accountable for what happens and acknowledging that sometimes things don’t go your way—that’s what makes the difference in the long run.”
