Prashant Bhuyan ’96

A Shipley lifer, Prashant Bhuyan ’96 has built a remarkable career as a pioneer in artificial intelligence. Long before AI became a household conversation, he was building innovative fintech companies that harnessed machine learning and cognitive computing to transform how markets process information. He went on to found Accrete, Inc., an enterprise AI company whose platforms are used by Fortune 500 companies worldwide. A member of Shipley's Board of Trustees, Prashant delivered the 2024 Commencement Address, reflecting on the foundation Shipley provided: "Shipley fostered my idealism, but it also taught me how to think critically."
