Roberts Road Closure Due to PECO Project
PECO has informed us that beginning on Monday, September 16, North Roberts Road will be closed between Montgomery Avenue and Wyndon Avenue for a project to upgrade their natural gas equipment. Work will be performed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and the project is expected to be completed in two months.
This work will affect traffic patterns, especially at the Lower School (see details below). We will keep you posted on the status of the project and we appreciate your patience as PECO conducts this work.
Lower School
Morning arrival will not be impacted and will remain as is with all families dropping off in the lower lot. Afternoon dismissal for grades 3-5 will shift to the lower lot where they will join grades PK-2 for the duration of the project. The procedure for dismissal will remain the same including: left turn when entering the lot from Wyndon Ave and right turn when exiting the lot onto Wyndon Ave. All Lower School students will gather in the small gym, wait for their name to be called, then escorted by a teacher to the car line. Parents/guardians who park and walk can pick up children at the entrance to the small gym. To ensure a smooth dismissal please, follow the signage, stay in lane, don’t get out of cars while in the pick-up line, and display name tags. Encore Club dismissal at 4:15 p.m. will continue to be at the Beechwood circle. We appreciate your cooperation and patience.
