Shipley and CHOP Partnership Featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer

In 2014, Shipley banned the heading of soccer balls for Middle School students, one of the first schools in the United States to make such a commitment to concussion prevention and safety. Now, Shipley has partnered with Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), to find objective ways to diagnose and measure concussions and prevent long-term effects through student-athlete participation and a research lab set-up in Shipley Athletic Director Mark Duncan's office.
