  • How do I delete my web browser history

    Chrome:
    1. Go to chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
    2. Select the following:
      Browsing history
      Download history
      Cookies and other site and plug-in data
      Cached images and files
    3. From the Obliterate the following items from: drop-down menu, you can choose the period of time for which you want to clear cached information. To clear your entire cache, select the beginning of time.
    4. Click Clear browsing data.
    5. Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
    Safari
    Safari 8
    1. From the Safari menu, select Clear History and Website Data....
    2. Select the desired time range, and then click Clear History.
    3. Go to Safari > Quit Safari or press Command-Q to exit the browser completely.
    Safari 7 and below
    1. From the Safari menu, select Reset Safari....
    2. Select the items you want to reset, and then click Reset. As of Safari 5.1, Remove all website data includes both cookies and cache.
    3. Go to Safari > Quit Safari or press Command-Q to exit the browser completely.
    Internet Explorer 9 and higher
    1. Select Tools (via the Gear Icon) > Safety > Delete browsing history....
      If the menu bar is hidden, press Alt to make it visible.
    2. Deselect Preserve Favorites website data, and select:
      Temporary Internet files or Temporary Internet files and website files
      Cookies or Cookies and website data
      History
    3. Click Delete. You will see a confirmation at the bottom of the window when the process is complete.
    4. Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
  • Why are my emails from Shipley going into my Spam/Junk folder and how do I prevent it?

    Whitelisting Email Addresses
    Email clients filter incoming messages into spam or junk folders to keep unwanted mail out of inboxes. These filters sometimes mistakenly move messages from Shipley into the wrong folder.
     
    School email addresses often need to be whitelisted by users so that emails or notifications do not go into a users email spam file. In addition to personal email addresses, Shipley sends emails from the following:
    • shipleyschool@myschoolnotifications.com
    • shipleyschool@myschoolemails.com
    • shipleyschool@myschoolapp.com
                
    Removing a Block

    If a community member wishes to be removed from the blacklist at a later date, he or she is required to email that request to Blackbaud.  The request must meet the following
    criteria:
    • The request must be sent from the email address that is to be removed from the blacklist.
    • The request must specifically ask to be removed from the blacklist.
    • The request must specifically name the organization (The Shipley School) that should be allowed to send email to the address in question.
    Community members should email the request to: unblockme@blackbaud.com  
     
    Blackbaud requires these steps in the event an email recipient marks messages as SPAM a second time, after being removed from the blacklist.  The requests are kept on record as confirmation that can be provided to Email Service Providers in order to protect sender reputation.
     
    Requests will be fulfilled within 48 business hours.  A confirmation will be sent to the requester when the email address has been removed from the blacklist.
