2023 Young Alumni Award Presented to Meghan Stevenson-Krausz ’08
Meghan Stevenson-Krausz is a true trailblazer in the world of venture capital, using her expertise to democratize access to capital for underrepresented founders in the Andean region of South America. As the Director of INCA Ventures, Meghan's focus on financial inclusion has helped many early-stage startups get off the ground, paving the way for a more equitable future.
Meghan's commitment to diversity and inclusion is evident in her founding of InclusivX, which has become the Latin American chapter of Diversity VC. Her work on the Board of 3G Philly, a nonprofit for the grandchildren (and friends of) Holocaust Survivors, is also a reflection of her values and her desire to make a difference in the world.
Meghan's academic achievements are equally impressive. She holds a Master of Arts with Honours in International Relations from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, and a Master of Science in Human Rights from The London School of Economics and Political Science. Her passion for film has also led her to do archival research for two documentaries, including Bill Nye: Science Guy, which premiered at South by Southwest and was featured on Independent Lens.
Meghan's achievements are a testament to her drive, her commitment to equity, and her passion for making a difference. We are proud to call her a Shipley alum and excited to follow her career. It is with great enthusiasm that the Alumni Council presents The Shipley School Young Alumni Award to Meghan Stevenson-Krausz, Class of 2008.
The Shipley School is a private, coeducational day school for pre-kindergarten through 12th grade students, located in Bryn Mawr, PA. Through our commitment to educational excellence, we develop within each student a love of learning and a desire for compassionate participation in the world.
