Coming into Shipley I expected a rigorous course load compared to that of my old school and a smaller class. That was it. I would have never imagined all of the doors that shipley would open for me. I met so many amazing people who I admire. I bonded with students throughout my classes and across grades over varied interests. Including: record collecting, being jewish, film and production, and even mandarin club. Shipley has also tremendously improved my writing skills. My teachers all met with me to review essays and writing assignments. Through our hard work i have seen a dramatic improvement in my writing. I will always be grateful to Shipley for showing me what a true learning environment looks like, where everyone is celebrated and supported.
