The Bias Reporting System at Shipley aims to effectively document and address incidents of bias experienced by community members. It is designed to provide robust support and resources to those affected by bias-related incidents. Through this system, the School diligently tracks and reviews such incidents, offering resources to impacted individuals and identifying opportunities for educational programming and accountability.
Reporting bias will result in decisive actions, including investigations, and individuals who have caused harm can be held accountable. Please be aware that while expressing an idea or point of view may be offensive or inflammatory to some, it is not necessarily a bias-related incident. To empower community members in navigating difficult conversations, the Belonging and Connection office will provide essential tools for discourse to build or maintain relationships among different constituents.
