Step into history during this immersive week-long camp exploring the places that shaped America.

Students will visit iconic Philadelphia landmarks like Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, as well as important Montgomery County sites such as Valley Forge and historic colonial farms.
Through site visits, interactive simulations, debates, and hands-on activities, students will experience life during the American Revolution and the early United States. This camp is perfect for curious students who enjoy history, storytelling, and learning through real-world exploration.
| Day 1: Founding America - Philadelphia |
Campers kick off the week by exploring where the United States was born.We'll visit Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, then head to the Museum of the American Revolution for interactive exhibits and firsthand artifacts from the Revolutionary War. The afternoon brings a visit to the National Constitution Center, where the ideas that built a nation come alive. |
| Day 2: Life at Valley Forge - Montgomery County |
What did it really mean to be a soldier in the Revolutionary War?At Valley Forge National Historical Park, campers walk real encampment grounds, explore replica huts, and discover how soldiers endured one of the war's harshest winters. The day includes a ration challenge and strategy games that put history into perspective. |
| Day 3: Colonial Life - Montgomery County |
Step into everyday life in the 1700s at Peter Wentz Farmstead.Through hands-on activities and demonstrations, campers experience colonial farming, cooking, and daily chores—getting a ground-level view of what life looked like for ordinary people during an extraordinary era. |

How have ideas about justice and freedom evolved over time?Today's visit to Eastern State Penitentiary explores the history of prison reform, sparking rich discussions about liberty, rights, and the ongoing struggle for freedom in early American society. |
Day 5: Turning Point - Bucks County |
| The week closes at Washington Crossing Historic Park, where campers learn about George Washington's daring Christmas night river crossing—a bold gamble that changed the course of the Revolution. |
