Who was your most influential teacher and why?
Dr. Richard - I learned so much in his class, and he helped me trust myself in writing and working hard for a grade.
What was your most memorable experience at Shipley?
Swamp Night was amazing; everyone was supporting the basketball team, the games were so much fun, and the vibes throughout the week were very good.
What does Courage for the Deed; Grace for the Doing mean to you?
I think it means taking risks and going out of your comfort zone will lead you to better places. And if you are kind to others, you will also be rewarded and be led to better places.
How has Shipley encouraged you to take risks?
For me, it was to come out of my comfort zone, and my friends at Shipley pushed me to do that as well. I made so many friends, joined clubs that I loved, and found new hobbies all at Shipley.
Please write a short reflection on your time at Shipley and what it meant to you.
My time at Shipley meant so much to me. I grew as a person and met so many people. The teachers pushed me to be great and were some of the best teachers I ever had. Overall, I think Shipley helped me to open up and set me up well for the future.
