Anna joined the Shipley community in ninth grade from Saint Anastasia School.
Activities and Positions: Soccer, Basketball, Athletics Committee (Head)
Favorite Club: Athletics Committee because it is a way for me to express ideas I have for the department and is something I am passionate about.
Favorite Class: My favorite class was Prohibition to Pop with Mr. Amidon. He is very knowledgeable and really loves what we cover in this class, like music, art, and different pieces of history. I knew I would like this class because all the topics are very interesting to me.
Best Thing about Shipley: The community and people are amazing. People can make or break an environment, but everyone here truly cares about you and your well-being and wants to see you successful.
What is one piece of advice that you would share with new students? I would say the biggest thing is to connect with your teachers and adults in the school. If you ever need anything, someone is always there to help you.
