The Acorn & Oak Society was named for the 28-year tradition pairing Shipley's youngest students - the Little Acorns - with members of the Senior class - the Mighty Oaks. The Society  was established to honor our most loyal donors who make a gift to Shipley each year without fail and who exhibit steadfast loyalty to -- and support of -- the School.

Through the Acorn & Oak Society, Shipley recognizes that it is the continuous generosity of loyal members of the community that enables Shipley to grow its Acorns into Oaks, who in turn give back to Shipley to support future Acorns and Oaks. The Acorn & Oak Society also recognized the School's enduring impact on its community of students, alumni, parents, and colleagues. Loyalty and generosity are critical elements of a Shipley education.
