Shipley's innovative approach to athletic performance and training builds a solid foundation for success both on and off the field or court. The staff works with each student-athlete to develop individual goals to achieve personal success in athletic performance and wellness and ultimately help achieve the team's goals and expectations.

Shipley's philosophy uses meaningful exercise experiences as a catalyst to help student-athletes learn the priority of health and wellness. We use athletics to create environments for students to compete with their teammates and learn lesson’s that last a lifetime.

Our performance program is specifically designed to provide opportunities for our teams to train for their sports in the off-season, and to prioritize active recovery, and performance maintenance in-season.

Sergio also holds a BA in Communications from Delaware State University and a Master’s in Exercise Science with a focus on Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention.
