• Q. What is the Re-Enrollment schedule?

  We will email a link to the electronic enrollment contracts on January 21, 2026 with a deadline for completion of February 4, 2026. 

• Q. Are there any changes this year?

  We are continuing with Blackbaud Tuition Management this year. Credit card payments and EFT payments can be made directly through Tuition Management. Current families will use the same account as last year and will have a single sign-on through ShipleyNet. New families will create their accounts as their contracts are submitted.

• Q. What is Blackbaud Tuition Management?

  Blackbaud Tuition Management is our online tuition payment portal. Families can log in to make payments, check account balances, and set up automatic payments. Login information is the same as your ShipleyNet login. If you have any questions, please contact Student Billing.

• Q. What are the deposit amounts?

  The amount will be 5% of the net tuition (total tuition less any Tuition Assistance award). Depending on the tuition for your child(ren) and the Tuition Assistance award, the required deposit amount will vary. Families not receiving Tuition Assistance will pay 5% of the total tuition amount.
  
  

  A net tuition example:  A 10th grade Total Tuition of $40,750 - $20,750 in Tuition Assistance = $20,000 Net Tuition. The deposit amount would be $20,000 x .05 = $1,000.

• Q. How much is the platform fee for digital bank account transactions (ACH)? (Specific to Checking & Savings accounts)

  The Platform Fee for ACH payments is 1.0% + $.30 per transaction, with a maximum of $2.50 per transaction. This $2.50 cap is on any transaction of $220 or more. ACH payments made through the Blackbaud Tuition Management platform are NACHA compliant and have enhanced fraud protection.

• Q.

  Are there any special instructions for families on Tuition Assistance?

  Families will receive notification of their tuition assistance awards via the electronic re-enrollment contract. The contract will detail your award amount and your tuition balance. Please review your grant amount and tuition commitment for the 2026-2027 school year. By completing the enrollment contract with your electronic signature, you are agreeing to pay the net tuition due.

• Q. What are my payment options for the enrollment deposit?

  Once you complete the contract process, you will be required to pay your deposit online immediately with a credit card, debit card, or EFT Bank Transaction. If you have concerns about this process or the available options, please contact Pat Daly, CFO.

• Q. What credit cards do you accept?

  We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

• Q. Is there a fee to pay with a credit card?

  Yes, there is a 3.12% fee to pay your deposit with a credit card.

• Q. Why are you encouraging everyone to sign up for the EFT program?

  We are encouraging ALL families to sign up for the EFT program, which links directly to your checking account so that you can more easily pay for your tuition charges and monthly incidental fees without writing checks each month.

• Q. Is there a fee for signing up for EFT?

  There is no fee for signing up for EFT.

• Q. What is tuition insurance and why do I need it?

  Shipley is pleased to offer optional tuition insurance from A.W.G. Dewar, Inc. for the 2026-2027 school year. When you select your payment plan, you will be asked if you wish to take advantage of this program. If you have questions, please reach out to Pat Daly, CFO at pdaly@shipleyschool.org.

• Q. Will I receive confirmation that my student is enrolled for the 2026-2027 school year?

  Yes. After you complete the enrollment contract, you will receive an automated email confirmation at the email address you have given to Shipley for school communications.

• Q. Will I be able to print a copy of my signed contract for my records?

  Yes, you will be able to print the completed contract after you submit it. Log into ShipleyNet, click on the dropdown next to your name, and go to “Files & Forms.” A downloadable and printable PDF version of your student's contract will be available.

• Q. If I sign and return the online contract is my student officially enrolled for the 2026-2027 school year?

  Your student will be officially enrolled once your deposit is paid, your electronic contract is submitted, and you have received a confirmation email.

• Q. Will all parents/guardians receive an enrollment email?

  All parents and guardians will receive the email to complete online enrollment. Please note that only one parent/guardian signature is required to enroll, so you may want to decide which parent/guardian will complete the enrollment process. Also, once the enrollment process is complete, another parent/guardian cannot access the system to enroll the student. Please note, for split households, the parent with a Tuition Management account will receive the email.

• Q. I forgot my user id and password – what should I do?

  You will need your email address and password to log into the secure website. If you are having trouble logging in, please review these instructions or contact webmaster@shipleyschool.org.
