Isabel joined the Shipley community in PreK.
Activities and Positions: Squash, Soccer, Lacrosse, Power of Blue (Head), Service Committee (Social Media Chair), DECA
Favorite Club: DECA. This is my favorite club because it is different than a lot of the other extracurricular activities that I participate in and you are able to connect with different people as well as learn about many important business skills that are useful in life no matter what profession you do.
Favorite Class: Dr. Gillin's US History class. I've always enjoyed history, but I enjoyed learning about US history because Dr. Gillin included a lot of primary sources and cool facts that you wouldn't normally get in a US history class.
Best Thing about Shipley: When I think of Shipley I think of community. The best thing I have experienced here is being able to be a part of and participate within the community on a regular basis, whether it is going to sporting games, helping with the lower school, or being a part of different communities within the overall Shipley community.
What is one piece of advice that you would share with new students? Try every new thing offered to you. It is a great way to broaden your horizons as well as meet new teachers, people, and experiences.
