Favorite Club:
Girls Spark is my favorite club at Shipley. It's an all-girls club where we talk about topics from emotional support to self-defense. We will have guest speakers and working stations regularly. 

Favorite Class:
My all-time favorite class is English. As a senior, choosing the English elective was so fun with so many options. This last year I was able to choose a topic I want to learn more about, and widening my knowledge on something I'm interested in is a nice experience. I enjoy listening and learning about connecting all of these current events and some historical events to these great books. All of the English teachers are so kind and understanding to me.

Thoughts on Shipley:
A welcoming environment comes straight to my mind when thinking of Shipley. Knowing you will always have a space at Shipley, a smile, and a happy attitude when walking through the halls. The best thing I've experienced at Shipley during my high school time is trying out Digital Photography junior year. I ended up finding out about this and have had a great time so far finding a fun hobby that has turned into a passion of mine. There were so many options for classes of my choice, and I am extremely grateful for that. 

Advice for New Students:
If you are truly unhappy with a class or activity, don't be scared to reach out to teachers, even if you are confused on something they help a lot!
