Favorite Club:
Simon’s Heart because I get the opportunity to form a bridge between my out-of-school and in-school philanthropic work. In addition, I get to educate and inform my peers on a cause that I am passionate about.

Favorite Class:
I liked Honors Macroeconomics the most in my time at Shipley. I found it interesting how this is a subject that I came to with zero background knowledge and left with more than I ever I thought I would comprehend and learn. I also loved having Doc as a teacher; he is one of the most caring, helpful, and just overall best teachers I’ve met in my time.

Thoughts on Shipley:
I think of opportunity. Shipley has such a large variety of opportunities for every type of student, allowing them to thrive and find themselves and their passions throughout their time. All the service opportunities are some of the best things I’ve personally experienced at Shipley because I’ve always been passionate about service, and my eyes were opened to different possibilities, causes, efforts, and more.

Advice for New Students:
Take advantage of all Shipley has to offer, don’t be scared of what people may think if you join a specific club, if you will like the club later on, or anything else. Just live in the present, and if something interests you, take advantage of it because this is one of the only times in life where you will get all these opportunities with an immense amount of support.
