Financial Aid

We are committed to making a Shipley education accessible to students from a range of socio-economic backgrounds. Over $6.2 million is awarded to approximately 31 percent of Shipley's students annually. All awards are based on demonstrated need, and are revised on an annual basis. Families of students applying to any grade are welcome to apply for financial aid, although aid is most likely to be available at natural entry points to the school.

Centennial Scholarship Program

The Centennial Scholarship is open to all students applying to grade nine whose families qualify for need-based financial aid. Winners receive a $2,000 annual stipend towards school-related expenses as well as an annual financial aid award for tuition to meet up to 100% of demonstrated need as reported by School and Student Services.
The Centennial Scholarship program is made possible through the generosity of a group of Shipley families who wished to encourage motivated, well-rounded and intellectually talented students to attend the school. Centennial Scholarship winners represent not only academic excellence, but also the potential to contribute to school life in multiple areas.
