Dr. Rebholz. As someone who I luckily had one way or another for four years in a row, he witnessed every small step of the ups and downs. He guided me through challenging times when I lost my focus and direction.

My favorite class is photography. I got to dedicate a major class time to pursue my passion that is not strictly academic. I get to find beauty in nature and find meaning in life. My camera becomes an extension of my eyes, allowing me to preserve the secrets of landscapes that speak to something deeper than what meets the casual eye. Through my photos, flickering moments stay in a freezing frame, perishing moments become immortal.

To me, it means having the boldness to step forward, speak up, and take action - even when it's uncomfortable or uncertain - while carrying out those actions with humility and composure.

Shipley has prepared me to independently resolve conflicts and face challenges in the real world.

Since many things require independence and agency, I've come to learn that I have to evaluate risks on my own, and decide whether to take that risk. The emphasis on independence by Shipley has encouraged me to take risks.

While only here four years, I have gone through a period where I have changed the most ever, and I believe these four years will continue to be the time where I've had the most drastic changes.
