Having just joined the Shipley community this summer, I have been inspired by the School’s rich history and its commitment to educating students in a balanced program of arts, academics, and athletics. Great schools such as Shipley also offer complementary opportunities and activities for students. This is one of the hallmarks of a well-rounded education.

This issue of Shipley Magazine highlights just some of the many ways that our students can follow their interests, curiosity, and creativity alongside talented colleagues who guide and nurture their growth. Clubs and extracurriculars allow students to go further and deeper into areas of interest, and sometimes introduce them to something entirely new, revealing hidden talents or sparking new passions. These offerings evolve with our students’ interests, and we look forward to expanding opportunities for participation in the years ahead.

None of these experiences would be possible without the support of the Shipley community. We are grateful for those listed in the Gratitude Report who gave generously so that our colleagues have the resources they need to ensure that the student experience in and out of the classroomis inspiring and rewarding.
