In 2015, he was named one of top 50 psychologists who are changing the way we see and think about the world. Dr. Kaufman has published nine books and countless peer-reviewed and popular articles for Psychology Today, Scientific American, and other publications. He is the creator and host of The Psychology Podcast, the number one psychology podcast in the world. Kaufman has taught courses on well-being and intelligence at Columbia, NYU, and the University of Pennsylvania. In his most recent book, Transcend: The New Science of Self-Actualization, he revisits Abraham Maslow’s work and proposes a new conceptualization of human needs.
