I’ve been involved in soccer since I was a toddler, which I’ve always had a big passion for, so it was something that I wanted to continue. When you came to Shipley did you consider yourself an athlete or a theater person? What do you consider yourself now? How did Shipley help shape the person you are today?
When I first came to Shipley, I considered myself strictly an athlete. I was extremely intent on focusing on soccer and basketball and wanted to succeed in just that. Ironically enough, I would say I consider myself today both an athlete and a theater person, but more so a theater person. Shipley’s theater program exposed me to the world of theater, and I grew to discover how much I really loved it. However, I couldn’t be thankful enough for Shipley athletics and have so much love and passion for it still.
