Here are some answers to your mobile bidding questions

List of 7 items.

  • What If I Already Registered?

You will receive a text message with a link to your personal mobile bidding site when mobile bidding opens on Tuesday, April 11 at 10AM. Please remember to have mobile device handy for mobile bidding during the week of the Online Auction.
  • How Do I Bid?

    • Step 1: When mobile bidding opens on April 11, please visit the mobile bidding site sent to your text or email messages. This personalized link will contain your bidder number.
    • Step 2: Enter your bid number and click "Go"
    • Step 3: Enter an item number or keyword to jump right to the item. You can also scroll up and down to browse the items by category.
    • Step 4: Enter your "Max Bid" on the detail page to take the lead.
    • Step 5: Tap on "My Bids" to view your activity throughout the event.
That's it! The system will automatically bid for you, up to your maximum bid, but only as high as needed to ensure winning. You will receive a text message if you have been outbid on any item(s).
  • Forgot Your Bidder Number?

Click on the "Remind Me" button.
  • How Do I Know If I Have Won?

You will receive a text and email at the end of the auction on Friday, April 14 notifying you that you have won. Items and gift certificates are available for pick-up the night of the auction, or from the Development Office in Brownell House on the Upper Campus from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
  • What Mobile Device Should I Use?

We recommend that you use whatever you are most comfortable with. Mobile bidding works with any device capable of accessing the internet.
  • Can I set a Maximum Bid?

Yes. When you see an item you wish to bid on, simply enter the dollar amount representing what you are willing to pay. The mobile bidding platform will store that amount and increment the current bid to the next highest bid (current bid + minimum raise). The best part is the software will continue to place bids on your behalf until we reach your Max Bid. Once your Max Bid is exceeded, you will receive a text message alerting you that it’s time to consider a higher Max Bid.
NOTE: When viewing items, keep in mind that the Current Bid does not mean that a Max Bid may not already exist. We will alert you if your attempted Max Bid is lower than a previous entered Max Bid.
